Operations Manager
Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the outlet.
- Supervise kitchen, counter, cashier, packing and support staff.
- Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and counter/service team.
- Manage peak-hour operations and maintain fast, efficient service.
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served/packed on time.
- Monitor takeaway and delivery orders.
- Manage queues and ensure a smooth customer ordering experience.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure food is prepared consistently according to established standards.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, discipline and performance.
- Train and guide new employees.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels and daily ingredient requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely availability of ingredients.
- Monitor food preparation quantities and minimize wastage.
- Monitor daily sales, cash handling, billing and POS operations.
- Maintain daily operational records and reports.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and outlet operating procedures.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Identify inefficiencies and continuously improve outlet operations.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and professional working environment.
What We Are Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience managing restaurant, cafe, QSR or food outlet operations.
- Experience in a South Indian restaurant or high-volume breakfast operation is preferred.
- Fluent in Kannada with good communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage fast-paced breakfast and peak-hour operations.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of POS, billing and inventory systems.
- Ability to work hands-on and lead the team during busy hours.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Ability to take complete ownership of outlet operations.
